    3-D Chocolate Pilgrim Hat Cookies

You wont believe how easy it is to create these 3-D Chocolate Pilgrim Hat Cookies for your Thanksgiving dinner. These holiday treats will definitely wow your party guests.

You wont believe how easy it is to create these 3-D Chocolate Pilgrim Hat Cookies for your Thanksgiving dinner. These holiday treats will definitely wow your party guests.

These Thanksgiving cookies are really super simple to make using the best chocolate cookie dough I have ever made. All you need are two round cookie cutters to create the stackable pieces of this three-dimensional cookie.

You simply roll, cut and bake then glue the pieces together with chocolate ganache and decorate with a candy clay hat band.

Now, these 3-D Chocolate Pilgrim Hat Cookies aren't the exact replicas of a pilgrim hat. If you really want your hats to have the traditional tapered shape, you'd have to cut the circles so that each cookie is a different size. That was more work than I wanted to do and I think they look pretty cool as they are. How about you?

    RECIPE

If you'd like to make these to serve at Thanksgiving this year, head over to Dixie Crystals for the recipe.

Thanks, I thought they looked pretty hat like even without the taper and am glad you think so too! I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving, Karen.
