    Ingredients
    Chocolate Cheese Ball Mixture:
    • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
    • ¾ cup powdered sugar
    • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
    • ⅛ teaspoon salt
    • 4 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, melted
    • ¼ cup cocoa powder
    Bunny Bum Decorations:
    • ¾ cups sweetened shredded coconut
    • 1 jumbo marshmallow
    • 1 teaspoon powdered sugar
    • 1-2 teaspoons bright pink sugar
    Green Coconut Grass
    • 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
    • green food coloring
    optional decorations
    • gummy carrots
    Instructions
    Chocolate Cheese Ball Mixture:
    1. Beat cream cheese until light and fluffy.
    2. Add powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt and beat until well combined.
    3. Stir in melted chocolate then add the cocoa powder.
    4. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for one hour.
    Bunny Bum Decorations:
    1. Once chilled, scoop out about 3 tablespoons of the cheese ball mixture and roll into a ball for the bunny’s tail.
    2. Roll the remaining mixture into a large ball then set in the middle of a serving platter and flatten slightly to create the bunny’s bum.
    3. Roll the small cheese ball in shredded coconut.
    4. Press the tail on top of the larger cheese ball.
    5. Sprinkle shredded coconut all over the large cheese ball, pressing it so that it sticks.
    6. Remove any excess coconut from the serving platter.
    7. Cut the jumbo marshmallow in half so you have two oval shaped pieces for the bunny’s paws.
    8. Sprinkle powdered sugar over the sticky sides of the marshmallows.
    9. Set that side down on your work surface and press down on the marshmallow halves to make each oval a bit larger.
    10. Using a brush, paint water in the shape of the toes and pad on the top of each marshmallow paw.
    11. Sprinkle pink sugar over the marshmallow then shake off the excess.
    12. Lean the two marshmallow paws opposite the tail on the bunny bum so that the toes face down.
    Green Coconut Grass:
    1. Pour the coconut into a zip top bag, add a few drops of green food coloring, and shake until well coated.
    2. Sprinkle the green coconut around the bunny bum cheese ball and decorate with gummy carrots, if desired.
    Recipe Notes

Serve with graham crackers, cookies, or pretzels.

Store your chocolate cheese ball in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
