Ahhh, bunny feet. Aren’t they just the cutest?

These particular paws may not be fuzzy and soft, but they are equally adorable and are so easy to make using Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs.

I used the traditional milk chocolate eggs and decorated them using both pink modeling chocolate and white cookie icing. You could do the same with the White Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs.

I like the look of the pink modeling chocolate on my bunny feet better, but realize that using royal icing, whether homemade or store bought (Betty Crocker Cookie Icing,) will be easier for many of you.

I always have modeling chocolate on hand. I make big batches of it, and store it in zip top bags. It keeps for months. If you haven’t tried working with it yet, I highly recommend doing so. I have a great recipe tutorial along with troubleshooting tips on my Chocolate Making Tips page.

Either way you decide to make them, they are a quick and easy way to transform a Reese’s Peanut Butter Egg into a sweet little treat for Easter.

Reese’s Peanut Butter Bunny Feet

Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs
white or pink modeling chocolate (click for recipe)
OR use white royal icing (Betty Crocker Cookie Icing)

Supplies (if using modeling chocolate):

Modeling Chocolate Decorations:

Roll modeling chocolate out on a non-stick mat. Cut one oval and three round pieces out using plunger cutters for each foot. Lightly brush water on one side of the oval and press it in the middle of the Reese’s Peanut Butter Egg. Attach three of the small round pieces around the rounded edge of the egg to create toes.

Royal Icing Decorations:

Pipe an oval and three dots onto each Reese’s Cup Eggs. These Chocolate Peanut Butter Bunny Feet can be stored in an airtight container for about a month, so you don’t have any excuse to make these before Easter.

Okay, first of all – reese's eggs are a favorite in my family, so you pretty much had me from the start, but then! These manage to be both crazy cute and so, so simple at the same time. Basically the best little Easter treat. Love these, Beth! Thanks so much for sharing them with us at The Makers link party. 🙂
