Help your kids show their teachers how much they appreciate them by making these edible Fudge Rocks! These delicious treats are so simple to make and only take a few supplies!
Teacher appreciation week begins May 6th. Last week I shared with you a recipe to make Personalized Vanilla Fudge Apples for your kid's teachers which I think are great for any teacher, but I wanted to present you with an alternative that would be nice to use for science teachers, male teachers, and possibly even music teachers.
All you have to do is follow my instructions for making Sweet Serenity Stones out of Cookies 'n Cream Fudge (found here) and change the messages from "Love," "Hope" and "Faith" to "You Rock." Your candy rocks will need to be quite large depending on the type of letter stamp you use and the length of the teacher's name. You can get 4 large stones out of the fudge recipe.

Beth, I have been gone for 3 weeks to Florida as my Mother-in-law fell and broke her back. She is 89 years old and still teaches water aerobics. We finally got thing set up for her and she is now pain free for the first time in 6 months. There is no y-fi there so I am in the dark. My second oldest daughter is in the hospital and it is touch and go. We are now off to Arizona. Today I got on line and what is there waiting for me? A wonderful on line friend Thank you for putting a smile on my face and some warmth in my heart. I love the strawberry basket for Mothers day. As usual you came up with another winner. Even the tag is great. Thank you for all of you talent that you share with us for free (still waiting for another book). I just wanted you to know that I am still with you in heart when I can't be on line. I can't wait to see everything I have missed. Trish Butler

Hi Trish,
I'm so sorry to hear about your mother-in-law and daughter. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. I hope your daughter recovers and can come home soon. I've had a rough week too. My father-in-law died in a home fire while we were on vacation. It's a hard time for the family.
I'm glad I could bring a bit of sunshine into your life!

So glad I found you. Reading your readers' comments make me feel like part of a community. I am saddened by the death of your father and the health issues facing Trish. You will both be in my prayers. Peggy Jo

This could easily become my pet rock!
It might also make a nice gravestone at Halloween. (But then, you probably knew that.)

Fudge rocks rock 🙂 I never get tired of seeing them.
The Partiologist
You know that the fudge rocks you made have been some of my all time favorite or your creations! Now I'll add these!

Thanks, Kim. They seem to be quite popular, that's why I keep revisiting the idea. There are really so many fun uses for them.
