Looking for an easy yet amazingly delicious candy recipe? Try making these Polka Dot Easter Eggs, they are the perfect treat for your Easter Baskets! And they are so much fun for your kids to personalize with their favorite colors!
I love polka dots.
My purse has polka dots, the shirt I'm wearing today has polka dots and the eggs I made for my Easter baskets have polka dots.
Adding the brightly colored polka dots to my candy eggs couldn't have been easier.
I started by rubbing the scratch marks off some colored Wilton Candy Melts. They get a little scuffed up in the bag, so I just rubbed them until they looked bright again.
I set an Easter egg cookie cutter on a parchment paper lined baking sheet, melted some White Candy Melts then poured some into my egg cutter.
Then I just placed a few pink, blue, purple, and orange Candy Melt wafers into the white candy coating then set the pan in the freezer for 10 minutes. Once chilled and hardened, I popped the candy egg out of the cookie cutter.
It was that easy and they look so cute.
