MOOShakes - Cookies & Cream Milkshakes
"MOO!" Is that the first thing you thought when you looked at these milkshakes? Maybe it's just me, but I can't help but "Moo" when I see these sweet cookies & cream milkshakes served in mason jar glasses decorated with chocolate brown spots. I'm silly that way, I guess. Of course, you probably knew that about me already. Drinking one of these cow spotted, cookies and cream flavored milkshakes just made me really happy.
These MOOShakes are as fun to look at as they are to drink and will really cool you off on a hot summer's day.
Each chilly drink is flavored using COFFEE-MATE® Cookies & Cream Liquid Coffee Creamer and is topped with Reddi-wip® Original Whipped Topping. When you partner the two together it's easy to shake things up a bit and create decadent milkshakes in an instant.
If you are a coffee drinker you already know what a great addition a flavored creamer can be to your drink, but have you ever thought to use COFFEE-MATE® Liquid Coffee Creamers to flavor a milkshake? You definitely need to try it if you haven't. There are so many fun flavors to choose from like the Cookies & Cream, Coconut Caramel Latte, Toasted Marshmallow Mocha, French Vanilla, Italian Sweet Cream, and Hazelnut, and each will add a unique flavor profile to a frozen drink. You can see lots of fun milkshake recipe ideas here.
While at Walmart this week, I grabbed a bottle of the Cookies & Cream creamer and a can of Reddi-wip®, so I could test out this milkshake recipe. I loved how the flavored creamer added a hint of sweet chocolate cookie flavor to a plain vanilla milkshake.
I couldn't resist adding an extra dollop of fun by topping my Cookies and Cream Milkshakes with Reddi-wip®. The taste of real cream was the perfect addition to my shake.
To make these shakes even more fun, I "painted" chocolate ganache spots on the inside of mason jar glasses and I served them with a cow print paper straw. My friend, Kennedy, drew a cute cow for me so I could even add a fun label to my straw to really finish the look of these MOOShakes. You can find the link to the printable labels below the recipe.
