Take a store bought treat and turn it into your own creation! These Reese’s Peanut Butter Carrots will have your little bunnies dying for more of these treats in their Easter baskets!
I don’t know why I love turning desserts into carrots at Easter.Oh, who am I kidding, I just love dessert and even though I eat carrots almost every single day, I often dream, as I’m munching on them, that they are cheesecake or chocolate instead.
Today I’m transforming Reese’s White Peanut Butter Fudge Eggs into carrots.
Why you ask?
When I saw them at the store I knew I had to make something fun using them and when I opened the package and saw the long skinny eggs, I envisioned them orange and with carrot tops.Didn’t you?

Orange spray food coloring (I used Wilton Color Mist)
green confectionery coating/Candy Melts
Spray several coats of orange food coloring spray over the eggs, allowing each coat to dry before spraying the next. If the eggs get splotchy, take a paper towel and rub it over of the egg, then spray it again. You’ll now have a nice coverage. Allow the eggs to dry for about an hour.
Melt some green candy coating, pour it into a sqeeze-it mold painter or small zip top bag with the tip cut off, and pipe some carrot tops onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Set a now orange Reese’s egg on top of the green stem. Freeze for 2-3 minutes, and you’re done.
