    Cheese Wedding Cakes

Published: May 13, '11 · Modified: Feb 16, '23 · By: Beth · This post may contain affiliate links.

Looking for a Quick and easy appetizer for Bridal Showers or Weddings? These Three Tier White Cheese Wedding Cakes are super simple and so elegant.

Whenever I host a party, I always serve some sort of cheese and love to use cookie cutters to cut the cheese into shapes that match the theme of the party.

I was in the middle of creating the recipe for my next blog post (a cheese ball decorated to look like a wedding cake) when I came up with the idea for these cute little wedding cakes just made out of thick slices of cheese.

I searched the Internet, sure someone had already come up with this idea, but couldn't find anything and wanted to share this simple yet clever idea with you.

Three Tier White Cheese Wedding Cakes

    Ingredients:
½" thick white cheese slices (Gouda, provolone, mozzarella, Gruyere)

    Special Equipment Needed:
    round cookie cutters 1", 1 ¼", and 1 ½"
    optional: small heart cookie cutters - ½", 1", 1 ¼"

    Instructions:

Buy ½" thick cheese slices from your deli counter.  Use the round cookie cutters to cut an equal number of 1", 1 ¼", and 1 ½" round pieces from the cheese.  Place a 1 ½" round on a serving platter. Stack a 1 ¼" on top and then a 1" on top of that. Repeat to create as many wedding cakes as you need.

    Optional Decorative Cheese:

Use small heart-shaped cookie cutters to cut out hearts. You can even make heart-shaped wedding cakes.

Plan ahead and cut the rounds out of cheese and keep them stored in an airtight container until the day of your bridal shower.

Just before your party, you can arrange the little wedding cakes on a serving platter. Add some heart-shaped cheese for a nice touch.

    Serve with your favorite crackers.

Add some beautiful touches to the dessert and appetizer table at your wedding or bridal shower. These wedding shower recipes will be almost as lovely as the bride to be on her special day.
