Ingredients for White Chocolate Twix Popcorn
- salted popcorn (or ยฝ cup kernels if popping fresh)
- white chocolate chips or white candy melts (or another confectionery coating like Candy Quik or Merckens)
- dark cocoa candy melts (or another confectionery coating like Candy Quik or Merckens)
- Twix Bites or 4-5 regular Twix bars
- Optional: vegetable oil (to help thin the chocolate if needed)
Step-by-Step Guide to Making White Chocolate Twix Popcorn
Cut Twix Bites in half or cut Twix candy bars into small ยผ-inch thick pieces.
Pop 1 bag of Orville Redenbacher's Naturals Simply Salt Popcorn according to package instructions. Remove un-popped kernels and pour popcorn into a very large mixing bowl.
Melt the white candy melts. Heat it in the microwave on high power for 1 minute, then stir, and heat it on high for 30 seconds. Then allow the candy coating to sit in the microwave for 1-2 minutes. Remove bowl and stir. If wafers are not completely melted, heat on high for 10-second increments, stirring after each.
Heat dark cocoa candy melts in the microwave on high for 15-second increments, stirring after each until melted.
Pour peanut butter chips into a bowl of melted white candy coating.
Stir, and wait 1 minute, then gently stir again. The chips will melt slightly.
Pour over the popcorn. Toss to stir until all the popcorn is coated.
Toss in the Twix Bites.
Pour popcorn onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Spread into a thin layer. Drizzle with the melted dark candy melts.
Freeze for 10 minutes or refrigerate for 15 minutes. Break into small pieces.

It's hard not to eat then entire bowl especially when the bowl is edible too! I love having carpet in our movie theater. I don't enjoy sitting on the floor, but couldn't help it last night. The room is so warm and cozy now. I love it:)
