Take your popcorn to a whole new level by adding peanut butter and Twix Bites

Ingredients
  • 1 bag Twix Bites
  • 1 bag Orville Redenbacher's Naturals Simply Salted Popcorn
  • 16 ounces white candy melts (or use Nestle Premier White Morsels, CandiQuik, or Merckens white wafers)
  • 1 cup peanut butter chips
  • 2 ounces dark cocoa candy melts or other confectionery coating wafers about 20 wafers
Instructions
  1. Cut Twix Bites in half.
  2. Pop the Orville Redenbacher's Naturals Simply Salt Popcorn according to package instructions. Remove un-popped kernals and pour popcorn into a very large mixing bowl.

  3. Melt white candy melts. Heat them in the microwave on high power for 1 minute, then stir, and heat on high for 30 seconds. Then allow the candy coating to sit in the microwave for 1-2 minutes. Remove bowl and stir. If wafers are not completely melted, heat on high for 10 second increments, stirring after each.

  4. Heat dark cocoa candy melts in the microwave on high for 15-second increments, stirring after each until melted.

  5. Pour peanut butter chips into the bowl of melted white candy coating. Stir, and wait 1 minute, then gently stir again. The chips will melt slightly.

  6. Pour over the popcorn. Toss to stir until all the popcorn is coated. Toss in the Twix Bites.

  7. Pour popcorn onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Spread into a thin layer. Drizzle with the melted dark confectionery coating.
  8. Freeze for 10 minutes or refrigerate for 15 minutes. Break into small pieces.
