Do you love chocolate covered pretzels? If so, try making these adorable Little Birdie Pretzel Snacks! They’re fun, festive, and great to decorate with your kids!
Hi everyone, I’m Michelle from the blog Sugar Swings! Serve Some and I’m so excited to be here to share these fun little colorful birdie pretzel snacks while Beth is on her European adventure! Beth has definitely inspired me over the years with all of her creative food and dessert ideas, so it’s really a treat to be sharing over here.
I wanted something simple that everyone could make, so decided on these fun little pretzel snacks.
Sweet and salty is one of my favorite flavors, and I’ve done pretzel snacks lots of times. I made these Birds on A Wire Graham Cracker Cookies awhile back, so thought a little twist on them would be fun.
Little Birdie Pretzel Snacks
- Jelly beans (I just love all the flavors and colors they come in!)
- Square Pretzels
- Candy melts or chocolate (I used light blue for the background, yellow for the bird accents, and regular melted chocolate chips for the nest/branches and eyes)
Assembly is so easy. Melt the candy melt in a zip lock bag, snip an end and “pipe” on the blue background. Add your jelly bean birds. Then pipe on the rest of the accents.
See easy and so cute! (I think it took maybe 1/2 hour to put these together)
Have an awesome week, and hope to see you over on my Sugar Swings! Serve Some blog soon. Beth, thanks for the invite over, I can’t wait to hear about your trip – I’m sure you’re getting tons of inspiration!
