Cut into one of these festively decorated cupcakes to reveal a mini cheesecake shaped like a Christmas tree hiding inside. These Cheesecake Stuffed Christmas Tree Cupcakes will put any Scrooge into the Christmas spirit.
My first attempt at stuffing mini cheesecakes into cupcakes worked so well that I thought I’d give it another try for Christmas.
I had heard from a reader who couldn’t find the pumpkin silicone mold I used to make my Ultimate Chocolate Cupcakes Stuffed with Cheesecake Pumpkins and she asked if there was another way to make them.
I’m happy to report that you can make cheesecake stuffed cupcakes using cookie cutters instead of silicone molds.
I used a mini Christmas tree cutter to create the cheesecakes that were baked inside these cupcakes.

Can You give me the recipe for the cheesecake trees please, on the website it is saying use 0.06667 of sugar, 0.3333 cream and 16.0000 of cream cheese. please help!!
Wow, I don't know what is up with the recipe on the tablespoon.com site. They are looking into it! You'll need 16 ounces cream cheese, 3/4 cup sugar, 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream, 2 eggs, 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract for the cheesecake. Then you'll need 1 Betty Crocker Triple Chocolate Cake Mix, 1 1/4 cup water, 1/3 cup vegetable oil, and 3 eggs. Frosting = 3 tubs Betty Crocker Frosting and sprinkles. The instructions are still correct on the tablespoon.com site. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Hi Jessie,
Honestly, I don't know. I've never made a boxed cheesecake and am not sure the texture or stability of the cake. It might work, but I really can't say. Sorry, I'm not more help with this situation.
Can I use a boxed cheesecake mix without using the crust?
Hi! They are so lovely! Fantastic!
