My first attempt at stuffing mini cheesecakes into cupcakes worked so well that I thought I’d give it another try for Christmas.

I had heard from a reader who couldn’t find the pumpkin silicone mold I used to make my Ultimate Chocolate Cupcakes Stuffed with Cheesecake Pumpkins and she asked if there was another way to make them.

I’m happy to report that you can make cheesecake stuffed cupcakes using cookie cutters instead of silicone molds.

Christmas tree shaped cheesecakes are stuffed inside chocolate cupcakes.

I used a mini Christmas tree cutter to create the cheesecakes that were baked inside these cupcakes.

If you’d like to make your own Cheesecake Stuffed Christmas Tree Cupcakes, be sure to stop by Tablespoon.com for the recipe and step-by-step tutorial.

I have not yet created any edible crafts that look like The Grinch, but my friend, Jill, over at Kitchen Fun with My 3 Sons has many. Here are a few links to her posts.

Wow, I don't know what is up with the recipe on the tablespoon.com site. They are looking into it! You'll need 16 ounces cream cheese, 3/4 cup sugar, 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream, 2 eggs, 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract for the cheesecake. Then you'll need 1 Betty Crocker Triple Chocolate Cake Mix, 1 1/4 cup water, 1/3 cup vegetable oil, and 3 eggs. Frosting = 3 tubs Betty Crocker Frosting and sprinkles. The instructions are still correct on the tablespoon.com site. Let me know if you have any more questions.

    Hi Jessie,

Honestly, I don't know. I've never made a boxed cheesecake and am not sure the texture or stability of the cake. It might work, but I really can't say. Sorry, I'm not more help with this situation.

These are really worth making. I gave them to my mom who shared them with all of her neighbors. They raved about them, which is always nice:)
