Apple Tree Cake

August 29, 2014 This post may contain affiliate links.

Add new dimensions to your dessert and make this Apple Tree Cake! This apple filled pound cake comes to life with a White Chocolate Popcorn Apple Tree on top.

Apple Cinnamon Pound Cake topped with a Chocolate Apple Tree | HungryHappenings.com

This cake was really a joy to create and even more fun to eat. The cake itself is simple. It’s a pound cake filled with fresh tart apples and it’s topped with a cinnamon frosting. I was amazed at how such a simple addition to a pound cake could enhance the flavor so intensely. I have to confess to eating half of this cake all by myself. I couldn’t stop myself.

What really makes this cake amazing, is really not the apples hiding inside, but rather the apples hanging from the chocolate tree.

Thanks! I have to say it was the most intricate structure I've ever put on top of a cake, and was glad it turned out so well.

Thanks, Maria. When I finished the cake I really thought it needed something else, so I made the fence. I think it really completes the cake and am happy you like it too.
