Laughing Cow Candy Corn (Cheese Wedge Halloween Snack)

My goal this Halloween is to simplify. I’m going to try my best to reduce the amount I have to do for our party by keeping our decorations uncomplicated. We’ll see if I can stick to this plan. I’m also going to do my best to come up with at least a handful of really easy edible crafts that would be fun to serve at parties or just as a snack. You know me, simple isn’t my thing, but I’m determined to give it a try.
My first Halloween post is just such a treat. Wedges of Laughing Cow cheese are painted with yellow and orange food coloring to look like candy corn. It can’t get much simpler than that!
If you are opposed to using the normal store bought food coloring, there are several natural food colors on the market which will work great as well.

Thanks for the pin, Melissa:) I do strive to create savory edible crafts, because we can't just have sweets at our parties. I find it more challenging to come up with snacks, but it's fun:)

These looks fantastic! I was wondering if you diluted the food color or added anything to it? I have both liquid drops and gel food color but wasn't sure which would be best and exactly how I should prepare it.

Thanks, Brit. I just used grocery store variety liquid food coloring. I know orange isn't always in the packages of food coloring, but for some reason I have a bottle. If you don't have orange, you can just mix red and yellow together. If you use gel color, you might want to thin it out with water.

What an awesome idea you had! I'm a huge fan of candy corn & when I saw this on Pinterest I was like COOL!!! Does the cheese have to be laughing cow cheese or would it work on any white cheese?

Just made these – SO easy and cute! Took me less than 30 minutes to make 12. (I didn't even use a "food only" paintbrush, just a new Crayola one. :)
