This adorable Chocolate Turkey Box is an amazing sweet Thanksgiving gift for anyone! These treats are easy to make and even more fun to eat.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of my American readers. I hope you all have a wonderful day tomorrow with your family and friends.

My husband and I are heading over to a friend's house for the afternoon and are bringing Chocolate Pilgrim Hats filled with decadent Chocolate Mousse, Pumpkin Whoopie Pies, Asiago Cheese Bread, and Irish Soda Bread.

Although I'm bringing quite a few things, I just couldn't go to this celebration without something embellished with that cute turkey design from Angie at Burton Avenue, and being someone else is bringing pies and my Pie Crust Turkey really needs to sit atop a pumpkin pie, I decided to re-create it using chocolate.

chocolate box filled with chocolate turkeys.

The craft that inspired this idea included a paper turkey glued to a small tin filled with candy. I have made chocolate boxes before and knew I could transform this craft into a completely edible chocolate turkey box filled with little chocolate turkeys.

I poured chocolate out to ¼" thickness, allowed it to just set, then cut out turkey shapes. I dabbed milk chocolate over the turkey's body parts to make it look a bit fuzzy. I painted luster dust onto the feathers, and added colored modeling chocolate for the feet, beak, waddle, and eyes.

To create the box, I rolled out some modeling chocolate and cut a long strip which I set in a circle over the bottom piece. I dabbed milk chocolate all over the strip to make it look fuzzy.

opened chocolate turkey box filled with small chocolate turkeys.

I poured some milk and dark chocolate into small turkey candy molds, chilled them, popped them out, and arranged them in the turkey box. I'll wrap it all up in clear cellophane and attach a thank you card. I'm sure my friend is too busy getting ready for Thanksgiving to read this post today, so it will be a surprise (at least I hope it will be.)

I just had to share it with you. Sorry, there is no step-by-step tutorial for this project. Maybe next year, if you'd like to see it.

My Fudo, I know what you mean. I've made lots of chocolate boxes over the years, but now that I've made this turkey box, I have so many ideas for other sculpted boxes. I'm sure I'll post a tutorial sometime soon. Have fun with it.

Looks really cute! I know I cannot do exactly the same turkey replica but your post gave me an idea for birthday treats and other occasions' treats and favors. Thanks for the post!
