Watch the video tutorial to see how easy it is to decorate Dog Cupcakes and Cat Cupcakes using Pillsbury™ Filled Pastry Bags. Everyone will love these adorably cute chocolate fudge-frosted cupcake dogs and vanilla-frosted cupcake cats.

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of the J.M. Smucker Company. The opinions and text are all mine.

Chocolate Dog Cupcakes and Vanilla Cat Cupcakes

I love the convenience of baking with a cake mix and using store bought frosting, especially when I'm baking something like these Dog Cupcakes and Cat Cupcakes for a kids party. Don't you?

Pillsbury™ has a new product that will make decorating cupcakes, cookies, or cakes even easier. The Pillsbury™ Filled Pastry Bags, which you can find in the frosting aisle at Walmart, are disposable pastry bags filled with either chocolate fudge, vanilla, or cream cheese frosting. Each bag is even fitted with a star pastry tip on the end. These pre-filled pastry bags are perfect when you are short on time or when you don't want to purchase all the tools separately.

My favorite thing about using these pre-filled bags is the lack of dishes to clean up afterward. If you have any frosting left, just place the bag in a zip-top bag and refrigerate it for another use.

    Chocolate Fudge Dog Cupcakes

You can decorate a whole batch of 24 of these adorable cat and/or dog cupcakes in less than 30 minutes.

    Decorate the dog cupcakes.

    • Press the tip of a Chocolate Fudge Pillsbury™ Filled Pastry Bag onto the cupcake around the outer edge.
    • Squeeze the bag, pushing a small amount of frosting out onto the cupcake, then pull away quickly forming spikes of brown fur.
    • Set the pastry tip next to the first spike of frosting fur and repeat, going around the perimeter of the cupcake.
    • Cover the entire surface of the cupcake in chocolate fudge frosting fur.
    • Pipe taller spikes to create the dog's snout.
    • Add a black candy for the nose on the snout.
    • Press two candy eyes into the frosting above the snout.
    • Break one lobe off of a jumbo red heart sprinkle creating an oblong-shaped tongue.
    • Press the tongue into the frosting under the snout.
    • Pipe on two long floppy ears using the chocolate fudge frosting.

    Decorate cute Cupcake Kitty Cats

    • Press the tip of a Vanilla Pillsbury™ Filled Pastry Bag onto the cupcake around the outer edge.
    • Squeeze the bag, pushing a small bit of frosting out onto the cupcake, then pull away quickly forming spikes of fur.
    • Set the pastry tip next to the first spike of frosting fur and repeat, going around the perimeter of the cupcake.
    • Cover the entire surface of the cupcake in vanilla frosting fur.
    • Pipe two swirls of frosting to create the cat's snout.
    • Press one pink heart in between the two swirls of frosting to create the nose.
    • Attach 3 chocolate jimmies on either side of the nose.
    • Press two candy eyes just above the snout.
    • Break one red heart sprinkle into two pieces to create one tongue.
    • Insert the tongue just below the snout.
    • Pipe two ears onto the cupcake and attach two upside-down pink hearts to create the pink in the ears.
