Fill small plastic shot glasses with tiny candies then top them off with a mini cupcake for a festive birthday treat.

Ingredients

white cake mix
and water, egg whites, and oil called for on package
red
yellow, blue, green, orange, purple food coloring
3 ¾
cup
white frosting
rainbow nonpareils
sprinkles
3 ¾
cups
tiny candies
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Line 60 cavities in mini cupcake pans with paper cups.
Make cake mix according to package instructions.
Equally divide batter into 6 bowls.
Color batter using food coloring.
Pipe or spoon batter into mini cupcake pans.
Bake for 10-12 minutes until the cakes spring back when touched.
Remove and allow to cool completely.
Pipe or spread white frosting on top of each cupcake.
Sprinkle on a bit of rainbow nonpareils.
Spoon about a tablespoon of candy into a plastic 1 ounce shot glass.
Set a mini cupcake on top.
Repeat, creating a total of 60 mini cupcakes in candy filled shot glasses.
