Instructions
Beast:
Unwrap Reese's Cup and set aside.
Roll out tan candy clay and cut into a ¾ moon shape beard.
Use a knife to make the beard look furry.
Cut two small eyebrows and also make look furry.
Roll out some brown candy clay and cut two tear drop shaped ears.
Press a toothpick from the bottom edge upward forming a crease in each ear.
Cut the bottom edge of the ear into a curve that will match up with the outer edge of the Reese's Cup.
Pinch off a small piece of brown candy clay and roll it into a log for Beast's mouth.
Roll out a tiny piece of white candy clay and cut it using a small triangle or teardrop shaped cutter. Cut that piece in half and cut each half so that you end up with two short fangs.
Roll a small piece of the tan candy clay into Beast's nose.
Roll some black candy candy clay into a thin log and attach it to the base of the nose using a small dab of water then cut off any excess.
Roll out black candy clay and cut two black eyes using a small round plunger cutter or pinch off small pieces and roll them into balls then flatten them into small circles.
Pinch off pieces of black candy clay and roll into a horn then twist it and curve it.
Pinch off pieces of brown candy clay and roll and shape into Beast's paws.
Use melted chocolate to attach the pieces to the Reese's Cup.
Set aside for a few minutes to dry.
Then use a knife to make the nose look furry.
Create white highlights on each eye using small dabs of white food coloring.
Set aside and allow the food coloring to dry for at least 30 minutes.
Pipe a big swirl of blue frosting onto a cupcake.
Optional: break a Pocky stick so that it is just long enough to be inserted into the cupcake, through the frosting, so that it supports the Reese's Cup.
Pipe blue frosting around the top edge of the Pocky stick.
Set Beast's head on the top part of the blue frosting swirl in front of the Pocky Stick.
Insert two paws into the frosting.
Belle:
Roll out dark brown candy clay and cut a circle that is the same size as the Reese's Cup.
Use a small heart cutter to cut a heart out of ⅔ of the brown candy clay circle creating Belle's hairline.
Cut a small ¾ moon shape for Belle's bun.
Attach the bun to the hair using a small dab of water. Let it set aside to dry.
Cut a curved tear drop shape out of dark brown candy clay then pinch it so that you have a long pony tail with a flat piece that can be attached behind the Reese's Cup.
Roll out some peach colored candy clay and cut a circle to match the size of the hair.
Brush a tiny amount of water on the top edge of the peach circle then press the hair piece on top.
Roll out a thin log of yellow candy clay and drape it over the seam between Belle's hair and bun, cutting off the excess yellow candy.
Then wrap a log around the ponytail and cut off excess.
Create two small eyes out of black candy clay and lips using a tiny piece of red candy clay.
Attach the eyes and lips to Belle's face using water.
Add a highlight to each eye by dabbing on some white food coloring.
Set aside to allow the food coloring to dry.
Use melted chocolate to attach Belle's face to a Reese's Cup.
Attach the ponytail to the back of the Reese's Cup so that it hangs down past the bottom edge of her hairline.
Shape two arms out of peach candy clay.
Pipe a golden yellow swirl of frosting on a cupcake.
Attach the Reese's cup and Belle's arms to the frosted cupcake using a chocolate Pocky stick for support if needed.
