Decorate Fudge Covered OREO Cookies to look like adorably cute penguins.
Shave off any excess chocolate around the edges of your Fudge Covered OREO Cookies using a sharp knife.
Dip a paintbrush, toothpick, or skewer into the melted candy melts.
Dab some of the melted candy melts onto the flat side of a white candy melt wafer or marshmallow circle and press it onto the chocolate OREO.
Use melted candy melts to attach two candy eyes on the opposite side of the cookie.
Then, attach one half of an orange mini M&M, cut side down in between and below the set of candy eyes. Or, attach an orange candy-coated sunflower seed with the rounded edge in between the two candy eyes.
Flatten a Tootsie Roll to about ⅛-inch thickness. If needed, you can soften your Tootsie Roll in the microwave for 3-5 seconds if is too hard.
Cut two small teardrop-shaped wings for each OREO Penguin using a teardrop cutter, kitchen scissors, or a knife.
Attach two wings to each penguin cookie on opposite sides of the white belly.
If desired, you can attach two small orange leaf sprinkles to the penguins to look like feet.
Let the candy melts dry for 15 minutes before packaging your penguin OREOs.
Store your cookies at room temperature for at least a month. They'll actually keep up to the best-buy date that is stamped on the Fudge Covered OREO Box if stored in an airtight container.
