Ingredients
Plain Cookie Pops
  • 12 Oreo Mini Cookies
  • 12 Oreo Mega Stuf Chocolate Sandwich Cookies
  • 2 ounces Dark Cocoa Candy Melts melted
  • 1 Wilton Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer Decorating Kit
Chocolate Dipped Pops
  • 12 Oreo Mega Stuf Chocolate Sandwich Cookies
  • 12 ounces Dark Cocoa Candy Melts melted
  • or pure chocolate melted and tempered*
  • 12 Oreo Mini Cookies
  • 1 Wilton Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer Decorating Kit
*See my Chocolate Making Tips page for detailed instructions on working with and melting Candy Melts and chocolate. If using pure chocolate, refrigerate instead of freezing in the instructions below.
  • It will be a little easier to get all your cookies dipped in chocolate if you use 16 ounces. You'll have left overs so just break up some cookies and stir them in then make some chocolate bark.
Instructions
Plain Cookie Pops
  1. Pull apart one Mini Oreo Cookie and scrape out the filling.
  2. Insert both cookie halves into one of the Oreo Mega Stuf Cookies creating Mickey Mouse ears.
  3. Repeat creating 12 Mickey Mouse Oreo Cookies.
  4. Insert two candy antlers in between Mickey's ears.
  5. Dab a bit of melted chocolate on the back of a red nose and press it onto the Mega Stuf cookie opposite the antlers.
  6. Dip the tip of a wooden craft stick in chocolate and insert it into the cookie opposite the antlers.
  7. Let chocolate dry before picking up your cookie pops.
Chocolate Dipped Pops
  1. Split apart an Oreo Mega Stuf Cookie.
  2. Brush chocolate on the inside of the cookie and press the two halves back together.
  3. Split apart a Mini Oreo Cookie and scrape out the filling.
  4. Dip one edge of each mini cookie in chocolate and insert them into the Mega Stuf cookie creating Mickey's ears.
  5. Flatten one tip of a paper straw and dip the tip in chocolate.
  6. Insert into the Mega Stuf cookie opposite the cookie ears.
  7. Repeat creating 12 Mickey cookies.
  8. Freeze cookie for 3 minutes.
  9. Dip the cookies in chocolate.
  10. Set cookie on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
  11. Press one red candy nose onto the cookie opposite the ears.
  12. Freeze for 3-5 minutes until the chocolate hardens.
