Lemon Lime Pound Cake Leaves for Thanksgiving dessert.

It’s been a while since I’ve created a tie-dye style cake and I’ve been wanting to make one that would be perfect for Thanksgiving. What do you think of these festive Lemon Lime Pound Cake Leaves?

I love their vibrant red, orange, and yellow color. They look like the leaf-shaped slices of cake fell off the most amazing tree.

Brighten up your Thanksgiving dinner table by serving these vibrantly colored Lemon Lime Pound Cake Leaves for dessert. The colorful fall leaves are so beautiful and have a lovely lemon lime flavor that your guests will love.

Our fall season was so short this year and I really missed seeing all the colorful leaves hanging on the tree. They appeared and were mostly gone within two weeks. Fall is my favorite time of year so seeing bare trees already is so sad.

These leaves make me very happy. I hope they make you happy too.

You can find the recipe over at Dixie Crystals.

I used their most popular 7-Up Pound Cake Recipe to make these leaves. My husband loves lemon and lime and he raved about this recipe. If you prefer a different flavor of pound cake, be sure to look around their site as they have so many amazing pound cake recipes. You can use any of the plain-colored pound cake recipes to make these pound cake leaves. Just be sure not to over-mix the batter once you add the color so you’ll have nice and delicate leaves.

Dress up your holiday table with some cute Thanksgiving food. Your family will adore these sweet and savory Thanksgiving recipes.
