Last year when I created my Crescent Carrots filled with Egg Salad, I just knew it would be a popular idea, and is, as a matter of fact, my most popular post to date. I got very excited as I was creating the tutorial, giddy really. Sometimes when an idea comes into my mind and then works out fabulously, I feel euphoric knowing people will respond to it in a positive way.
Every day I am truly inspired and in awe of all the creativity around the web. My fellow food bloggers have elevated the art of making edible crafts over the past few years and I love seeing all their wonderful recipes.
Blogland is home to a sea of talent. There are a lot of sites out there that showcase great images of fun and festive food, and up to this point I haven’t shared many ideas from other bloggers here because I didn’t want to just show you pictures of things you’ve already seen. But everyday I realize just how many blogs are out there and constantly find myself saying, “wow, how have I never been to this blog before, there are so many great ideas here?”.
So, before Easter gets here I wanted to share some ideas from other bloggers that I really love. I know there are so many amazing ideas out there, but here a just a few that really struck me. After I share a few of their recipes, I thought it would be a good idea to also share a recap of my Easter recipes from last year, in case you haven’t seen them before.
Inspiring Ideas for Easter
This bowl full of little bluebirds from The Sweet Adventures of Sugarbelle
made from Jordon Almonds made me smile.
I love that such a wonderful looking sweet treat is so simple to make.
These cookies featuring peeking bunnies are just too sweet.
Meaghan from the decorated cookie created them using fondant
and food coloring markers.
Karen from Sugartown Sweets melted Jolly Ranchers and created these colorful
edible Easter egg ornaments. So fun!
Easter wouldn’t be complete without an Easter bunny and this cookie pop
created by Louise for Cake Journal is just adorable.
