Honeycomb and Bee Cookies

These Honeycomb and Bee Cookies are a great dessert to add a festive flare to any party! Whether it’s a summer birthday or a simple cookout, these cookies are a beautiful addition!

Honeycomb and Bee Cookies

Hello to all of Beth’s friends! I’m Hani from Haniela’s. I’m so super excited to be here today. When Beth asked me to do a guest post, honestly I was little scared. I had not idea what to create. As you know Beth’s creativity is endless. She always comes up with such cool and unique ideas!

I absolutely love your blog Beth! You are an inspiration.

bee themed cookies

While shopping I found a silicone honeycomb pot holder and I had my mindset on honeycomb cookies. I often find ordinary items and use them to create different cookie designs. Honeycomb potholders could be used with fondant or gum paste, as well.
They were super easy to make and with a little decorated bee, they make for a pretty centerpiece. I hope you like it, too.

Beth thank you for inviting me over to your blog. I hope you are having the best time in Europe and have a safe trip home.

How to make Honeycomb and Bee Cookies

To make Honeycomb and Bee cookies you need:

Sugar Cookie Recipe /Chocolate Cookie Recipe
Royal Icing Recipe
Hexagon Cookie Cutter
Honeycomb Silicone Pot Holder – for the honeycomb texture
Bee Cookie Cutter
Americolor Food Coloring – Yellow, Black -15 second consistency
FooDoodlers Edible Markers
Super Fine Edible Marker

I use sandwich bags to decorate cookies, you can use whatever you are the most comfortable with, piping bags fitted with piping tips or bottles fitted with piping tips.
