Most breads that are baked with shapes inside, require two risings and aren’t ready to eat for 5 or more hours.I’m impatient, especially when I smell fresh bread baking. I want it now.
So, instead of making a yeast bread, I chose to make a quick bread and an amazing one at that. My loaf is encrusted with Parmesan cheese. The crunchy exterior not only adds amazing texture, but the entire loaf is flavored by the nutty cheese.
Adding a heart inside, just makes this bread all the more special.The best part is, your bread will be ready to eat in about 2 hours. If you are like me, and you just can’t wait, you can cut into this loaf while it’s still hot, having it even sooner. It’s best to wait, but I understand that can be impossible sometimes.
