Cupcake Decorating Party for Kids

July 3, 2014 This post may contain affiliate links.

Give your kids a day full of fun and sugar and show them how to make some delicious cupcakes. This Cupcake Decorating Party is perfect for party idea for any gaggle of little ones.

Cupcake Decorating Party

The day the kids came to my house for the Candy Making Party, I thought it would be fun to give them some cupcakes to decorate too.

Each child was given one vanilla and one chocolate cupcake and I set out red, white and blue Betty Crocker Cupcake Icing, sprinkles, and some candy flags.

The kids had a blast squirting the frosting out of the cans in swirls and squiggles all over their cupcakes.

They were so proud of their creations and they really wanted me to share the pictures of them. Aren’t they adorable?

Fourth of July is tomorrow, and you may not have time to make a decorated dessert, so why not just bake some cupcakes and let the kids do the decorating at the party?

As you can see, there was very little mess, with using the cans of icing and your party guests will really get a kick out of making their own dessert. Happy 4th of July.

I love this, it hardly looks like any mess at all! Did you catch anyone squirting frosting into their mouth? 🙂
