Candy Filled Cookie Recipe (Makes 3 dozen cookies)

Ingredients:

2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter, melted
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 large egg yolk
3/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 Reese’s Cups
1 Snickers Bar
1 Milky Way Bar
1/2 cup M &M’s
1/2 cup Reese’s Pieces
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

Combine flour, salt and baking soda together in a mixing bowl. Set aside.

Combine butter and both sugars in a mixing bowl. Beat together until well combined. Mix in egg, egg yolk and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and mix just until combined.

Chop candy bars into small pieces. Stir all of the candy into the cookie dough until just combined. Drop heaping tablespoons of dough onto prepared pans, spaced two inches apart. Bake for 11-14 minutes. The edges of the cookies should be golden brown, but the centers should look soft and puffy. Cool cookies completely on baking sheet, or until you just can’t wait any longer.
