Candy Cane Rudolph on Rice Krispie Treats

December 7, 2014 This post may contain affiliate links.

Sometimes it’s simple, sometimes it’s silly, today it’s both. It’s Kim here, The Partiologist, and I’m back with the Candy Cane Rudolph and it’s an easy way to make something with your kids or your whole family.

Candy Cane Rudolph Rice Krispie Treats

So simple, yet so fun.  I bet you like the simple part, right?

mini candy canes, chocolate chips, and candy eyes

All you need are candy canes, Semi-Sweet chocolate chips for dipping, candy eyes and red Sixlets for the nose (not shown).

dip mini candy canes in chocolate then attach two together to form the reindeer antlers

Unwrap the candy canes and place two of the same size together.

Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl.

Dip one candy cane halfway up and lay it on wax paper.

Immediately dip the other candy cane and place it so that the chocolate is touching.  The chocolate will seal the two together when it dries.

attach two candy eyes and one red candy nose to each chocolate dipped candy cane Rudolph

Before the chocolate is solid, add the candy eyes and a red Sixlet for the nose.

Pretty soon you’ll have an entire herd of reindeer.

homemade rice krispie treats

You can either leave them alone or put them on the top of a Rice Krispie treat.

I decided to add them to the Rice Krispies Treats.

Kim girl, you never cease to amaze me with you creativeness. How do you come up with all these ideas? Love the Rudolph's, they're so darn cute!

Love all your festive ideas at the end of the post too, Beth. Nice to meet you and checkout your blog too. I think we're both in the FBHEO on FB.
