My friends love to go to tea to spend an afternoon talking over a tower of little cakes, clotted cream and scones. I myself am not a fan of drinking tea, but do love indulging in little tea cakes.
These tiny cakes would really brighten up any table at tea time. They are colorful inside and out with a rainbow of sugary glaze running down the sides of the cakes and bright red raspberry jam and orange apricot jam in between layers of almond pound cake.
