Instead of just having a Thanksgiving Cornucopia on display, create some Crescent Roll Cornucopias for your guests to munch on before dinner! They will be great for any fall get together and these cones are even better when they are filled with left over turkey!
Do you have lots of left over turkey every year at Thanksgiving?
We do, so I turn it into Cranberry Turkey Salad.
I’m sure most people would just leave it at that, but you know me, I have to make my presentation pretty, so I created some Crescent Roll Cornucopia and filled them with the turkey salad.
The cornucopia are made just like my Crescent Roll Carrots, but instead of using a cream horn form to shape my crescent rolls, I covered some sugar cones in tin foil then wrapped the crescent roll dough around them. I had some readers tell me they did that to make their carrots, so I thought I’d give it a try.
It worked great.
