Enjoy two easy to make fall desserts loaded with your favorite fruit, an Apple Crisp Ice Cream Pie with an oatmeal cookie crust topped with vanilla ice cream, caramelized apples & cookie crumbles and a French Pear Tart on a sugar cookie crust with pastry cream and sautéed pears.
If you love apple crisp a la mode, this Apple Crisp Ice Cream pie is perfect for you. This simple dessert is easy to make starting with an oatmeal cookie crust topped with store bought vanilla ice cream. The pie is topped off with caramelized apples and crispy cookie crumbles.
This dessert is perfect for this time of year. It’s refreshing to eat on a hot day, but makes you feel all warm and cozy inside. The apples are tossed with brown sugar and apple pie spice to give this dessert a wonderful fall flavor.

If you prefer pears to apples, this French Pear Tart is for you. I love both fruits and they could easily be interchangeable in these desserts.
This tart is made with a sugar cookie crust topped with luscious pastry cream. I could eat pastry cream in just about any dessert. It’s so amazing just on it’s own, but when spread on top of the sugar cookie crust and topped with sautéed pears, it’s heaven.
I wanted my pears to be very light in color for the picture, but have to admit that I think they taste better when they are caramelized more, so go ahead and get them nicely golden brown. It will enhance the flavor and look pretty too.
