Even if you are short on time during the holidays you can make some of these beautiful 2 Ingredient White Chocolate Fudge Snowflakes to add to your gift boxes or Christmas candy platters.
If you are like me and you enjoy packaging up handmade goodies to share with friends and family at the holidays, you are going to love this quick and easy holiday recipe.
For most of my life I have given gifts of sweet treats to friends and family at Christmas and I love to fill my packages with festive candies including fudge.
My favorite fudge to make requires two simple ingredients. It comes together quickly, is never grainy, and tastes just as good as any fudge I’ve ever had.
This year, not only will my fudge be creamy and delicious, it will be pretty too.
No squares for me.
Instead, I molded my fudge using Wilton’s new Silicone Snowflake Mini Cake Molds. Each mold is about 5 inches in diameter and one recipe of fudge makes 6 snowflakes.
They are so easy to make that you’ll want to make a lot of them too.
You could make dozens of these snowflakes in an afternoon. You’d have enough to wrap several together in bags and tie with a pretty ribbon to give to your kid’s teachers, arrange them in a gift box to give to the neighbor who watches your dog when you are away, or package them individually in clear cellophane bags to give as party favors at your Christmas event.
Just be sure to keep a few to enjoy yourself.
- 24 ounces white chocolate, finely chopped bars or wafers
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- Pour white chocolate and sweetened condensed milk into a saucepan.
- Set over low heat.
- Heat, stirring occasionally, until the chocolate is about half melted.
- Remove from the heat and stir slowly.
- Set aside for 5 minutes to allow the heat to melt the remaining chocolate.
- Stir until smooth.
Spoon the fudge into the molds and pop them in the freezer for 30 minutes.
Remove and peel away the mold.
White chocolate has a very off white color to it, so dust your fudge snowflakes with powdered sugar if you’d like to give them a whiter appearance.
I’ll be wrapping these up to give to some neighbors this holiday season and am excited to use this new mold to create some more sweet treats too.
