I think these would be a great project to do with the kids. I kept them really simple using Candy Melts, pink confetti sprinkles, candy eyes, and marshmallow bits. You will need a small tear drop metal cutter to cut out the ears. If you don’t want to purchase one, then you could just use large chocolate chips for the ears instead.
Rice Krispies Treat Lamb Pops
18 black confectionery coating wafers (Candy Melts)
12 candy eyes
18 pink confetti sprinkles
6 Rice Krispies Treats
10-12 ounces melted white confectionery coating (Candy Melts)*
1 (3 ounce) canister of Jet-Puffed Mallow Bits (tiny marshmallows)
lollipop sticks (I covered mine with purple polka dot straws) or craft sticks
Immediately sprinkle mallow bits over the entire pop, pressing them in as needed. Attach an ear on either side of the rice krispies treat, keeping them in line with the lamb’s head.
Pop your lollipops in the freezer for five minutes.
Store in an airtight container until you are ready to put them in your Easter baskets. To keep them fresh longer while in the basket, wrap them in a clear cellophane bag and tie with a ribbon.
