Turn a traditional recipe into a festive Easter Dessert! This adorable Lemon Bar Chick will be sure to have your party guests drooling over this delicious goodness!
Usually by this time of the Easter season, I happily wake up when the sun rises, enthusiastically bounce out of bed, and skip into my kitchen and dance around as I make Easter treats. I’m not exaggerating.
When spring comes I feel reborn, and have so much energy it drives my husband crazy. I have to tell you though, this never ending gloomy winter has just gotten me down and it has really effected the flow of my creative juices.
So, I decided if there was no sun outside, I’d have to create my own inside.
You can see by this unedited picture, just how dreary it was in my kitchen the day I made this Lemon Bar Chick. This bright yellow ball of cuteness really did make me feel all warm inside.
I created this dessert for a guest post over at Lil’ Luna. Kristyn, graciously invited me to share a recipe with her readers which was a great motivation for me. Her blog is filled with fun crafts, recipes and DIY projects created by a team of amazingly creative woman.
Once I made this cheery yellow chick, it finally got my creative juices flowing, and I made several new projects, all in one day, which I’ll share here in the next two weeks.
So if the forecast in your area is for more grey skies, like it is here, I hope my treats will bring a bit of joy to you, as they did to me.
